When you register for FoodAid you will get access to the resources section of the FoodAid website containing a wealth of educational materials to help your students explore global food issues.
These include:
• Lesson plans: Each lesson plan is user friendly and has clear links to the citizenship curriculum for key stages 1-2 and give you and your pupils the opportunity to explore various issues surrounding hunger and malnutrition around the world, such as: ‘What is Hunger and Malnutrition?’ and ‘Why are People Hungry?’

• Hunger quiz: Use this on your classroom interactive blackboard. Use the fact sheets as background reading then have the quiz on World Food Day to promote discussions about issues other people around the world experience. See sample here
